THE MENU THE MAKER'S DIET CULTURAL RELATIVITY MULTICULTURALISM AYN RAND INDIVIDUALISM

See Tarzan And The Championthe diet of the Babangos.

The book contains somewhat of a recipe, or at least a procedure, call it a topic for a culinary anthropology article, "Meat Tenderization Among The Babangos".

Burroughs even criticized, tongue in cheek I assume, those who claimed that this was a bad diet!

His earlier work had characterized all cannibals as degraded, but he went back to his Rousseau esque noble savage roots for this one, and for these now noble cannibals.

If the ideal was merely a noble savage, then all, among these savages, is permitted.

Why then not a noble savage cannibal?

Cf. "Understanding A Primitive Society", Peter Winch

Why not let Americans vote on an issue like this, if it ever comes up, viz whether to locally legalize cannibalism (say on the model of Mormon polygamy, another multicultural bugbear) , state by state, or even county by county, or city by city, or even say street by street (direct democracy)?

Why should the feds tell local cannibal tribes what to do?

This post is dedicated to Boop. You know who you are.

All the best
