Australia came out recently opposing the US' (admittedly foolish and way too late, and wrong headed) containment position re China (e.g. why try to ' contain ' your own factory, and largest creditor, even if you could?).
China, I believe, is Australia's biggest trading partner.
Huge materials contracts, etc.
Australia can smell the coffee, on its sniveling hacking admission, true or false, about its erstwhile best friend in Asia.
Australia has been more or less, becoming part of China's Confucian sphere of influence; perhaps I exaggerate
call it a tractor beam of free trade.
So much for Churchill's ' English Speaking Peoples ' hanging together, when there's free trade on the go, eh?
