Quite correct. Something I have been saying for about 25 years now, 


but mostly to myself unfortunately, as no one around me agreed with or understood this wild idea.


It really was already obvious, with the Japan hollowing out process in the 60s and 70s, later chronicled in the 80s by several well known authorities; but even then, with the handwriting on the wall so to speak, they were ostracized by the weight of laissez faire, and foreign influenced, opinion.
