that all men are created equal, etc., etc. There are a lot of issues running around in these phrases, or statements.

It is heretical to suggest reading isolated passages in Wittgenstein, but how about paragraphs 90 to 130, Philosophical Investigations, on these themes. This reference is more for philosophical egg heads like, say, Bobbitt..who of course has no time for nonsense like this.
