THE MENU IMPROV

This is an ideal dessert for the minimalist gourmet.

Thin slivers from a German marzipan log, less than one quarter inch thick, say an eighth, a daub on each sliver of hazelnut chocolate spread, whirled into a whipped butter mousse, there are various kinds, light and or dark.

This could be an h'ordeuvres if lain onto thin vanilla almond cookies or wafers.
