The argument of The 1619 project, that only white people are guilty of original sin of racism in general, has been taken up as a crusade by every other civilization and race on earth which had not already hoisted an anti Western Civilization banner itself based on slavery and/or colonialism.
Many Liberal Americans, especially those who believe in original sin, which Jews (a separate race by their own terms) either secular or orthodox do not, have long admitted their inherited guilt; according to the 1619 project all white Americans are guilty of the original sin of white racism (racism not shared by any other race) whether they thinks so or not, not innocent until proven guilty,
and the only issues left, from their confession or nonadmission, are reparations, retribution, and revenge and counter domination of Western Civilization. Those are the alternatives.
Not assimilation. Not western liberal universalism. Those were never really truly on the table, except in the liberal Western mind.
One of the myths in the 1619 project is that African slaves built America, and thus are now entitled to inherit it.
(American Indians got treated differently and got chickenshit federal separate nation status.....Wonder why? Any way you cut it, they are a separate race or subspecies, going back to Siberia 15,000 years ago)
