Why is he bothering, spending all this time and effort, to chicken shit interfere in a political system already so fucked up?
If one answer is, they need to influence American politics, the rejoinder is that they might be better off with a hands off approach to degenerate American politics.
if the reply is that they must engage the American system, then the retort is that they could very easily adopt a high minded and aloof attitude toward American high politics, while still maintaining all the overbearing espionage dirty tricks, dirt gathering, infiltrations, and strategic surveillance, which they would never relinquish, and need never fear of having to relinquish, under any circumstances.
