As I said recently, honey, watching Elvis, you didn't know whether you were in church or in hell!
When his family moved to Memphis from Tupelo, they went to the same church as my uncle Ned Haynes and his family, and also were neighbors; uncle Ned's stepson was a good buddy of little Elvis...my uncle gave them a little money to buy candy, on the week ends...
